Brownies ♥

Made brownies yesterday. For i have sweet tooth, i like everything chocolaty =) it's so yummmeh~
So now, im gonna share the recipe below, however do note that i've amended the original recipe cause i like this one better. I tried twice and it's a success for me so im planning to share the recipe that i've amended. FYI, i got the original recipe from internet too but i dun remember which site..sorry.

Above: This is one of em..i made two.

Recipe:
2 large eggs
50g flour - i use super fine flour/ hkg flour
3-4tbsp cocoa powder - depends on how chocolaty u want it to be
100g chocolate - i prefer to use dark chocolate, it wont taste too sweet
70g sugar - if u use normal baking chocolate i suggest u amend it to around 50g
1 tsp vanilla extract
* a bit of milk (optional)
*chocolate chips/almond bits (optional)

for the topping i melt some baking chocolate and added a lil fresh cream ( you can use milk if you dun have fresh cream at home ). just pour the melted chocolate on top of the brownies..ohh not forgetting, if you have vanilla ice cream at home....go for it ! put one or two scoops on top and you're set to feast on something reaaaaally yummmmeh!

*** if you use dark chocolate u may use 70g sugar as usual but if you use normal baking chocolate, it is wise to lessen the sugar else it'll taste too sweet. though brownies usually taste rich chocolaty and sweet, we must also watch out for our health. too sweet is never too good for the health =)

p/s: do take note on this ! you can double this recipe cause this recipe is half of the original one. BUT i advice you never to triple the above recipe cause the brownie will turn out hard when you refrigerate it. im telling you based on my own experience =/

Happy baking ! =)

Nan Ru Pork Belly

Fresh from my kitchen  =P~

Okay. Time for the recipe. This is my own recipe according to my family's and my own liking.

Ingredients:
3 layer pork
bits of salt
bits of pepper
fermented bean curd (in chinese, it's called "nan ru") -- i use only 1 cube of nan ru
few drops of maggi seasoning sauce
about 1 to 2t of sesame oil
calamansi lime (or is it kalamansi?)

Method:
mix all the ingredients together and marinate the pork for at least half an hour before frying or grill it inside the oven.. before serving, squeeze the lime juice on top of the meat ! that's all. yeah i mean it. no kidding. it's as easy as that.

p/s: FOR BETTER TASTE, marinate it overnight..i marinate mine for few hours only though, cause i suddenly wanna cook this dish.

Happy trying it out then =) and I hope you like it.

Temperamental 138

above picture looks much better than the one below

Took this picture first and realise it dun look good. The cheese melted long time before i even took the picture so i put a lil more on top and took the first picture as shown. (=

Spaghetti ! one of my favs.. bolognese. As i type im 'salivating' inside my mouth hahahahah.. got such word ? My bf doesnt take beef so i have to divide the portion into two..

1. beef and

2. pork ham

~'~"~'~"~'~"~'~"~'~"~'~"~'~"~'~"~'~
My own Recipe:
  • a packet of ur own choice of spaghetti noodle
  • do buy the bottled tomato puree and/or any fav brand pasta sauce (well, this is for lz ppl like me who wants to make life easier) hahaha..i use diff brand all the time. eg: san remo and prego....
  • cheeeeeeeeeese is a must.. you can put cheddar cheese for extra cheese flavouring but do use either parmesan or mozzarella so you can have the springy cheese effect for every scoop up (my fav part.. hehe)
  • chop onions and garlics
  • prepare meat (mince beef or pork / ham slices / seafood like prawns, crabmeat, squid), estimate according to your liking per dish
  • mushrooms, tomato - sliced accordingly
  • olive oil - 2-3 tablespoons would do good already
  • chilli powder, cheese powder, pepper, salt - to taste

p/s: like i said, this is my own recipe..if you have better ones then by all means use the better one. ty
