Thank You All.......

As we draw towards the end of 2010, I want to thank all of you for your educational e-mails over the past year. I am totally screwed up now and have little chance of recovery.
I no longer open a bathroom door without using a paper towel, or have the waitress put lemon slices in my ice water without worrying about the bacteria on the lemon peel.
I have trouble shaking hands with someone who has been driving because the number one pastime while driving alone is picking one’s nose.
Eating a little snack sends me on a guilt trip because I can only imagine how many gallons of Trans fats I have consumed over the years.
I can’t touch any woman’s purse for fear she has placed it on the floor of a public bathroom.
I MUST SEND MY SPECIAL THANKS to whoever sent me the one about rat poop in the glue on envelopes because I now have to use a wet sponge with every envelope that needs sealing.
ALSO, now I have to scrub the top of every can I open for the same reason.
I no longer have any savings because I gave it to a sick girl (Penny Brown) who is about to die for the  1,387,258th time.
I no longer have any money, but that will change once I receive the $15,000 that Bill Gates/Microsoft and AOL are sending me for participating in their special e-mail program.
I no longer worry about my soul because I have 363,214 angels looking out for me, and St. Theresa’s Novena has granted my every wish.
I can’t have a drink in a bar because I’ll wake up in a bathtub full of ice with my kidneys gone.
I can’t eat at KFC because their chickens are actually horrible mutant freaks with no eyes, feet or feathers.
I can’t use cancer-causing deodorants even though I smell like a water buffalo on a hot day.
THANKS TO YOU I have learned that my prayers only get answered if I forward an e-mail to seven of my friends and make a wish within five minutes.
BECAUSE OF YOUR CONCERN, I no longer drink Coca Cola because it can remove toilet stains.
I no longer buy gas without taking someone along to watch the car so a serial killer doesn’t crawl in my back seat when I’m filling up.
I no longer drink Pepsi or Fanta since the people who make these products are atheists who refuse to put ‘Under God’ on their cans.
I no longer use Cling Wrap in the microwave because it causes seven different types of cancer.
AND THANKS FOR LETTING ME KNOW I can’t boil a cup of water in the microwave anymore because it will blow up in my face. Disfiguring me for life.

I no longer go to the movies because I could be pricked with a needle infected with AIDS when I sit  down.

I no longer go to shopping malls because someone will drug me with a perfume sample and rob me.
I no longer receive packages from UPS or Fed Ex since they are actually Al Qaeda agents in disguise.

And I no longer answer the phone because someone will ask me to dial a number for which I will get a phone bill with calls to Jamaica , Uganda , Singapore , and Uzbekistan .
I no longer buy cookies from Famous Amos since I now have their recipe.
THANKS TO YOU I can’t use anyone’s toilet but mine because a big black snake could be lurking under the seat and cause me instant death when it bites my butt.
AND THANKS TO YOUR GREAT ADVICE I can’t even pick up a coin dropped in the parking lot because it probably was placed there by a sex molester waiting to grab me as I bend over.
I no longer drive my car because buying gas from some companies supports Al Qaeda, and buying gas from all the others supports South American dictators.
I can’t do any gardening because I’m afraid I’ll get bitten by the Violin Spider and my hand will fall off.
If you don’t send this e-mail to at least 144,000 people in the next 70 minutes, a large dove with diarrhea will land on your head at 5:00 p.m. tomorrow afternoon, and the fleas from 120 camels will infest your back, causing you to grow a hairy hump. I know this will occur because it  actually happened to a friend of my next door neighbor’s ex-mother-in-law’s second husband’s cousin’s best friend’s beautician . .  .

Just yesterday evening, i went to the airport to fetch my parents. Their flight got delayed after they boarded the plane. No phones allowed to be switched on in the plane so i had to wait unknowingly of how long and what time they'd reach. I didn't park at the car park as i went up from home accordingly to the time im told, and assuming there should not be any delays since they've boarded, got me waiting in vain in the car for almost an hour. Though i may have wanted to go down and check the time of arrival, but im parked at the yellow line. I hell do not wanna risk getting a ticket for leaving my car unattended.

Anyway, here's what i wanted to say. In that almost an hour wait, it just struck me that being in the airport can give a kind of feeling that im not sure which words are best to describe it. It doesn't matter what one's doing. I realise, i can spot so many kinds of faces in just one place. Really. A place where all emotions are showed, written on the faces of the old and young. Airport. Those that waited eagerly and happily for their friends/family outside the halls of arrival. Those enjoying their meal before departure. The faces of the sad and unwilling to separate with their friends/loved one(s). The excited ones that are going on a vacation, the excited ones waiting for the arrival of their friends/love ones and the excited tourists that cant wait to go explore the destination that they've just reached.(repeating my points... lol.)  Somehow makes me wonder.. is there anyone that would have just stop what they're doing for a minute and just look into the sea of people in the airport and reflect on their own lives?  

Im definitely the eager one waiting for my parents to touch down safely of course and to see the stuffs they've bought for me. So maybe i should say the waiting was kinda like a BLISS. Communication is a vital thing no matter in which aspects of our lives. Everyone has their own way of communicating. As you talk, you give opinions, accept ideas given to you or exchange ideas. Listen with understanding to what others have to say. Then you ask questions to further understand something that is not so clear to you. That must be the hardest thing to do in life..i bet. *im being cynical here. get. it.*  

To those that communicate less;
The one you call bf/gf now could be in the future, the one whom you would spend the rest of your lifetime together with. So how can you not communicate with someone whom you are going to spend your whole life with? Maybe you have plans to torment yourself at the olden days with everything kept to yourself instead. But do let me remind you, as we age, we somehow tend to grow lonelier in our hearts that make us want to find a partner to accompany us, to communicate with us. oh well.. You decide.

To those that have no life;
Pretty please, simple conversations are not meant to be lead into arguments. To argue over practically nothing is plain stupid. I find certain little kids these days can communicate properly with manners, much better than some adults. Cheerios to em. Boo to those some adults. Remember, no one can clap and make sound with one hand. There is always two sides of the stories so assume not anything before you get to know both sides.. When argument sparks, instead of blaming others immediately, why don't you think what went wrong and what needs to be done. (In this part, i must admit, 我是过来人. In the early days of relationship, i picked on every little things that i do not see an eye with the bf. I want to be the winner to every arguments, even if im on the wrong side. Till we both got fed up and finally decided to sit down and talk. Give and take. Have mutual understandings through conversations.) Conclusion, to maintain a healthy relationship, one must have good communication skill.

Of course, even healthy relationships have their ups and downs. That makes life much more interesting. BUT not all the time. Too much is like consuming poison for self destruction. Once in a while is like taking antibiotics to boost up stronger immunity. I've had my say...so what say you?

Lesson 1

Do not always compare yourself with those who are much better off than you. Because it will make you feel so inferior and may ignites jealousy and what so ever of sort. But if you do compare with them, once in a very long while, it can help you to improve yourself a little, if not a lot. Please give me the the strength and determination i need to pull through the things you put me to test. If i shall be tested, then so be it. But do guide me along the way for i may slow down, and might stray away to the wrong path. Bring me back to the right way and lead me all the way for in You i entrust myself to. So, come what may the obstacles in life. Bless all the kind souls along the way i had met, meeting now and will be meeting in the future. Send your guardian angels to all the people i care and love, give them the courage and faith to continue walking down their path of lives with heads tilt high and be happy always. Amen.

I hope the above-mentioned prayer did not make anyone succumb to heart attack. Worry not. I am still fine if not perfectly sane but of course, i am definitely not suicidal. Yet. Okay. hahaha. Kidding. Sometimes it's just the depression and tension in life that makes me wanna blurt out anything.. well, at least it's a prayer to the One up there rather than rants of what ever not. 

One thing though. I know there are people who wonders (and in fact, even bitch lor) bout why i did not apply for another job after resignation months earlier. 家家有本難念的經 okay. There are certain things you can see from outside that you cannot see from inside. So do not judge me just from what you think you have seen it all. No you have not! Besides, even if you were to ask me why, i can always explain, but can you understand ? However, there are so many things in life..i don't think i am able to explain it all. It happens for a reason, even if it may not be a good one.

Im explaining, not ranting. ahh~ guess it must be the law inside my head. Had been reading my law before i decided to blog my unknown tension out. Of course, if i have the opportunity, i'd definitely like to work and earn some cash while studying but since i do not see any job that interest me so far, i'll just stick to studying, with heart and soul. Hope i can finish my degree soon. Next year if possible. In God i trust and have faith..

A thought to share...and it's sooooo true…

"I just finished taking  an evening class at Stanford. The last lecture was on the mind-body connection-the relationship between stress and disease. The speaker (head  of psychiatry at Stanford) said, among other things, that one of the best things  that a man could do for his health is to be married to a woman whereas for a  woman, one of the best things she could do for her health was to nurture her  relationships with her girlfriends. At first everyone laughed, but he was serious.

 

Women connect with each other differently and provide support systems that help each other to deal with stress and difficult life experiences. Physically this quality “girlfriend time" helps us to create more serotonin-a neurotransmitter that helps combat depression and can create a general feeling of well being.  Women share feelings whereas men often form relationships around activities. They rarely sit down with a buddy and talk about how they feel about certain things or how their personal lives are

 going. Jobs? Yes. Sports? Yes. Cars? Yes. Fishing, hunting, golf? Yes.  But their feelings?-rarely.  Women do it all of the time. We  share from our souls with our sisters/mothers, and evidently that is very good for our health.  He said that spending time with a friend is just as important to our general health as jogging or working out at a gym. 

There's a tendency to think that when we are "exercising" we  are doing something good for our bodies, but when we are hanging out with  friends, we are wasting our time and should be more productively engaged--not true. In fact, he said that failure to create and maintain quality personal relationships with other humans is as dangerous to our physical health as smoking! So every time you hang out to schmooze with a gal pal, just pat yourself on the back and congratulate yourself for doing something good for your  health! We are indeed very, very lucky. Sooooo let's toast to our friendship with our girlfriends. Evidently it's very good for our health."

Love the coleslaw. Such a generous portion! We could not finish em though, cause we're already very full actually from dinner. 

Oregano is moving to Jln Kereta api sooon. I heard it'd be round November. Not quite sure the exact date but should not be wrong (hopefully) bout the move. Oh well, i was just trying to find something to blog about otherwise this blog would be so dead. For i have found new passion in twittering instead. Precise and easy but somehow everything i type is limited to 140 letters only. A bit too little but i still survive anyway. God bless.
